Double Fine is pleased to announce that, along with the console exclusive PlayStation 4 and Vita versions of Grim Fandango, Manny will also reap once again on PC, Mac, and Linux!
And that’s not all, folks! All versions will be launching simultaneously, so everyone can play on day one and not have to worry about those spoilers you’ve been successfully avoiding for the past fifteen years. (Pro-tip: stay off Twitter.)
But hopefully, after all those years of patience, you can hold out just a BIT longer.
Did you know that my current favorite band right now is studiokillers?
I’ve been a fan of them for YEARS actually (ever since the video for “Ode to the Bouncer” was released), but I’ve never made proper art for them. Now with the success of their World Tour Kickstarter I finally got the drive to make a simple portrait of the main animal duo of the group~
If you like electronic pop music made by independent artists with fantastic characters and visuals, or if you haven’t even heard of them until now, go check out their tunes and logs. You won’t be disappointed.
Sweet fan art, Tika!
Go commission her, everyone!
Tim Burton received this handmade cake from his animation team and it’s basically the coolest shit ever.
"All right, let’s shake and blow."
This was the film chosen by the contest winner from the night of The Great Showdowns exhibition at Gallery 1988! An excellent choice that Tony made.
Also, The Great Showdowns book is out now!
To my knowledge, La Marseillaise is the only national anthem that goes out of its way to describe their country’s accent as “manly”. And yes, this includes anthems composed by Kahless The Unforgettable sung in the original Klingonese.
You can get Dinosaur Comics on Tumblr! NOW YOU KNOW!
Who knew the first metal song was from 18th century France: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Marseillaise
THE GREAT, GREAT SHOWDOWNS HUNT
Here’s what’s happening: I will post a little painting from a popular little film once every day this week leading up to the Revenge of the Great Showdowns exhibition on Friday, July 11th at Gallery 1988. These paintings shall be placed into envelopes and hidden somewhere at the location in which that scene happened.
The first person to find this painting shall keep this painting as a gift from me to you! I only ask that you post a picture of the found painting in your possession, so I can congratulate you in front of the world. Tweet it or whatever you like. #GreatGreatShowdownsHunt
This particular painting is from a film with suits in it. Black suits and ties were very popular in this film. Violence was also quite popular later on. But early on these fellas all gather around a table at a diner and discuss Madonna lyrics and tipping practices. Where were these guys dining??
The hunt is on, you guys.
"Why am I Mr. Pink?"
DOG WEEK: Day 5
“Tell your chef Linguini that I want whatever he dares to serve me. Tell him to hit me with his best SHOT.”
FOOD WEEK: Day 5
If this does well, then maybe.. just maybe this might provide the path towards funding a sequel to Psychonauts? At least we fans can dream!
God bless you sweet young and hairy Sally!
Guess who finally got off their lazy butt and did a proper commissions sheet?! It’s summer and I don’t have anything better to do other than draw, so might as well get my commission info updated!
Prices are in USD. These are for personal commissions only. If you have something business related in mind (such as art for shops, logos, cards, flyers, etc), those will probably cost a bit more. It never hurts to ask for a quote though!
TINY EDIT because I completely spaced out of this: If you want an Avatar/Icon commission, they’ll be between $5-10 per icon depending on the subject and/or style!
If you have any questions whatsoever, send me a message or email me at the address shown! Thanks! <3
Morning reblog, plus I updated the description a bit! This will be the only time I reblog this so don’t worry about me spamming your dash anymore.
