Rewatched Where The Wild Things Are again. This movie was absolutely beautiful. I’m surprised it didn’t get even higher praise than it did. I think a lot of people were expecting a kid’s movie so maybe that’s why. It’s really more for adults and parents, but everyone can enjoy it and will see it from a different viewpoint. Kudos to both the late great Maurice Sendak and Spike Jonze for making this great film.

TCAF 2012 was awesome! Got to hang out with so many amazing artists and hauled in a lot of sweet personalized stuff! The fans were super cool too! Everyone was so friendly and awesome! Pictured above is all my loot I took home including this awesome print of Nathan Stapley’s “Robotic Companions”.

I have my computer background change randomly every day. This one kind of spooked me when it came up after a reboot.
Today the king of all wild things is gone. Maurice Sendak has passed away at 83. A big inspiration to me. I would have loved to have the chance to have met him, but I did get to see his original works on display in NYC. Here’s some past drawings I did of the wild things, I might make a new one. Rest in peace, Maurice, take care in that big rumpus in the sky. Thank you for all your wonderful gifts. When I look at your work I feel like my supper will always be hot.
